Planning for Hope: Living with Frontotemporal Disease, a 1-hr documentary film

July 22nd, 2014

I came across this one hour documentary which takes its viewers through the experiences of several individuals and how FTD emerged and progressed.  It was heart wrenching at times.  You will hear personal accounts from those suffering from FTD and the family’s experiences as well.  One woman received 6 diagnoses before obtaining the correct one!  FTD sufferers often are told that they have other psychological problems such as depression and to give it “time.”  This is such a devastating disease as it affects younger people who likely still have young children in the home.  This is worth the time to watch.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_frvVBgRHYI
